Job summary

Symphony Manor, a premier retirement community in Baltimore, MD, seeks an Activities professional to plan, schedule, and implement a seven-day week calendar of resident activities. You will identify residents’ needs and develop plans to accommodate them while involving residents in planning recreation objectives and goals.

You will integrate residents with the community through facility activities and outings, creating a strong positive image and building relationships with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field; certification as an Activity Professional preferred.
• Two years activities management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and implements activities, for a seven-day week calendar.
• Identifies the special needs of each resident and creates a plan to accommodate those needs.
• Involves the resident in planning recreation objectives and goals for the resident.
• Integrates resident with the community through facility activities and outings.
• Creates a strong positive image and establishes good relationships within the community.

Compensation: $60,000 - $67,308.80
