Job summary

Park Place at Winghaven, a Sonida Senior Living community in O'Fallon, MO, is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to lead weekly activity planning for independent living, assisted living, and memory care residents. You will identify resident needs, develop plans, involve residents in recreation, and foster community relationships; several tech tools like EHR and BI are used to enhance care and efficiency.

Eligible candidates should have a BS in Therapeutic Recreation and two years of activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field.
• Two years activities management experience preferred.
• Certification as an Activity Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, and implements activities for a seven-day week calendar.
• Identifies the special needs of each resident and creates a plan to accommodate those needs.
• Involves the resident in planning recreation objectives and goals for the resident.
• Integrates resident with the community through facility activities and outings.
• Creates a strong positive image and establishes good relationships within the community.

Life Enrichment Director Responsibilities Include
