Job summary

Symphony Manor, a Sonida Senior Living community in Baltimore, MD, seeks a compassionate Personal Care Attendant to assist with daily living activities and medication administration. You will escort residents, help with meals and activities while maintaining dignity and independence.

Qualifications include 2+ years caregiving, dementia/cognitive impairment experience, CPR/First Aid certification, and clear communication. Background checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Caregiving experience is required (2 year minimum).
• Dementia/Alzheimer and other cognitive impairments experience is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Assists with instrumental activities of daily living, medication, treatments and care while encouraging self-care and independence.
• Escorts residents within the building and outside, as needed.
• Assists with setting up, serving meals and cleaning up afterwards.
• May assist with planning and executing resident activities on a regular basis.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect at all times.

• Appreciate the value of being a dependable & responsible member of greater team
• Caregiving experience is required ( 2 year minimum)
• Experience caring for older adults with physical or cognitive support needs preferred.
• Dementia/Alzheimer and other cognitive impairments experience is required
• CPR/First Aid certification is required
• Ability to safely assist with mobility and physical care tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
