Job summary

The Jasper of Mansfield is seeking a Life Enrichment Director to lead activity programs in our Mansfield, TX Assisted Living and Memory Care community. You will plan and execute a full weekly calendar, adapting plans to each resident's needs while fostering community engagement and care excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation or related field; Activity Professional certification preferred.
• Two years' activities management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and implement activities for a seven-day week calendar.
• Identify residents' needs and create plans to accommodate them.
• Involve residents in planning recreation objectives and goals.
• Integrate residents with the community through activities and outings.
• Build relationships within the community and support promotional activities.

Life Enrichment Director Responsibilities Include

• Plans, schedules, and implements activities, for a seven-day week calendar. preferences.
• Identifies the special needs of each resident and creates a plan to accommodate those needs.
• Involves the resident in planning recreation objectives and goals for the resident.
• Integrates resident with the communality through facility activities and outings.
• Creates a strong positive image and establishes good relationships within the community, which may include press relations, promotional activities, scrapbooks, and displays in the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation or a related field, certification as an Activity Professional preferred.
• Two years activities management experience preferred.
