Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing, facilitating, and implementing a wide variety of recreational and educational programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living neighborhoods.

You will lead 6-7 daily programs, survey residents, coordinate with the program team, promote participation, organize spaces and supplies, recruit volunteers, and assist with resident transportation and off-site outings.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing recreation programs.
• Ability to assist with resident transportation and outings.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work with multi-level wellness dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day.
• Survey residents to tailor activities.
• Coordinate with LED/HSD/HS teams to plan calendars.
• Promote resident participation and satisfaction.
• Arrange and maintain programming areas and supplies.
• Recruit and oversee volunteers.
• Post notices and posters to advertise programs.
• Provide transportation for residents to activities and appointments.
• Assist with off-site outings and safe coordination.
