Job summary

Kittitas Interactive Management seeks a Life Enrichment Coach to support adults with developmental disabilities in their homes and the community, helping them pursue personal goals and daily living skills. You will document progress, coordinate activities, and promote independence with dignity and respect.

Applicants must be 18+, pass a DSHS background check, hold a valid WA ID/driver license, and have experience supporting developmentally disabled adults.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• Background check cleared by DSHS before working alone unsupervised with clients
• Valid driver’s license or Washington State ID
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Ability to follow instructions, organize and set priorities, and work well with staff and clients
• Intermediate experience supporting developmentally disabled adults

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and advocate for the needs, wants, and rights of clients with dignity and respect
• Teach emotional and behavioral regulation techniques
• Identify areas of change for clients and develop action plans
• Collaborate with clients to develop action plans to achieve goals
• Evaluate clients’ progress toward goals
• Coordinate individualized programs and document activity thoroughly
• Maintain client confidentiality
• Assist with client money management and transportation as needed
• Ensure safety and health care access for clients
• Maintain open communication with supervisor and management
