Job summary

Kittitas Interactive Management in Yakima, WA is seeking a Life Enrichment Coach to support adults with developmental disabilities in homes and in the community. You will help clients work toward personal goals, assist with daily living activities, meals, transportation, and health appointments while maintaining dignity and confidentiality.

The role is non-exempt with a pay range of $17.50 to $18.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18
• Background check cleared by DSHS before unsupervised work with clients
• Valid driver’s license or Washington State ID
• Ability to follow instructions and work with others

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and advocate for clients with dignity and rights
• Teach emotional and behavioral regulation techniques
• Collaborate with clients to develop action plans
• Document activities thoroughly and maintain confidentiality
• Transport and accompany clients to activities and appointments
• Administer medications and coordinate health care as needed
• Ensure safety and maintain a clean, safe home environment
• Report injuries or safety hazards to management
