Holland Farms Senior Living in Norwalk, IA is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to plan and lead daily activities, build relationships with residents, and coordinate events that promote engagement and joy. The role supports aging adults with creative, person-centered programming in a community setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience in senior living or customer service, a positive, outgoing personality, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior living, activities, recreation, or customer service is preferred.
• Positive, outgoing personality with a passion for working with older adults.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Creative thinking and ability to lead engaging group activities.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and willingness to drive a passenger van.
• Ability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging daily activities, events, games, crafts, exercise programs, and celebrations.
• Create monthly activity calendars to encourage participation and enrich residents’ lives.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents to promote socialization and purpose.
• Coordinate holiday celebrations, community events, and outings.
• Maintain activity supplies and spaces to stay organized and welcoming.
• Transport residents to appointments and events as needed.
• Partner with families, volunteers, and local organizations to craft memorable experiences.

What You'll Do

• Plan and lead engaging daily activities, events, games, crafts, exercise programs, and special celebrations.
