Legend Senior Living is hiring a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant to plan and execute engaging activities for residents in memory care settings. You will support a high-quality lifestyle program that enhances holistic wellness and daily living experiences for residents.

The role requires a valid driver's license, ability to transport residents, and a willingness to work weekends; experience with seniors and event planning is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver's license is required.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, or demonstrated creative skills is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute resident activities, including calendar development, budgeting, and coordination with outside organizations.
• Ensure activities meet residents' needs and preferences.
• Oversee a specific life enrichment component (e.g., Memory Care) as assigned.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to events, including driving company vehicles when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff; follow policies and safety guidelines.

We are looking for outstanding individuals to join the Life Enrichment team as a Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant. You will make a difference in the lives of residents by planning and executing engaging activities.

Responsibilities - Life Enrichment (Activities) Assistant

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Required: Current, valid driver’s license

• Prefer: Experience working with one or more of the following: seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills
• Individual is required to perform standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling and lifting up to 50 lbs throughout their shift.
