Job Description

The Life Enrichment Assistant engages residents in daily programming and entertainment. Assists in creating activities tailored to residents' needs, with familiarity and willingness to work with elderly populations, including those with Alzheimer's/Dementia.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop personalized programs for residents.
• Collaborate with team members to plan a monthly activity calendar aligned with resident interests.
• Use the Partnership Profile to tailor programs and involve staff and volunteers.
• Coordinate with outside agencies to enhance resident experiences.
• Plan trips suitable for residents, including those with memory loss.
• Report resident engagement to help develop personalized care plans.
• Communicate with families about participation in activities.
• Manage volunteer programs through screening, training, and supervision.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
