Job summary

Saint Therese IHM in Monroe, Michigan, seeks a Life Enrichment Assistant to bring joy, connection, and purpose to residents. You will lead activities, help residents rediscover hobbies, and contribute to a vibrant, welcoming community where everyone feels seen and valued.

The role offers a full-time schedule, collaboration with a caring team, and opportunities to support residents across care settings in a faith-based senior living environment.

• Skills in crafts, music, arts, and physical fitness.
• Knowledge of small group dynamics.

• Ability to learn and develop recreational and therapeutic skills.
• Ability to read English and follow diet cards, menus and production sheets.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to communicate through oral and written skills.
• Able to meet physical demands of position.
• Ability to work 1 out of every 4 holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead creative activities and engage residents.
• Create monthly activity calendars and coordinate activity programs to meet the needs of the residents.
• Decorate living community neighborhood seasonally.
• Document progress of residents quarterly.

Full-Time | Life Enrichment Assistant (Activities Assistant)

Schedule: 72 hours per two week pay period
