Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents by implementing life enrichment programs under the Life Enrichment Director. You will help plan, lead and adapt activities that spark interests, enhance social engagement and maintain residents’ well-being, dignity and joy.

This role emphasizes teamwork with care staff, effective communication with families, and maintaining accurate participation records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience and/or training or equivalent.
• Preferred CNA certification; 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively implements life enrichment programs as planned for each resident.
• Honors residents' needs and communicates changes to the Life Enrichment Director.
• Assists residents to and from programs and outings as scheduled.
• Maintains good rapport with family members and supports family involvement.
• Assists residents during meals and snacks to promote socialization.
• Completes records of attendance and participation in activities in a timely manner.
• Provides input to assessments and evaluations of resident participation.
• Communicates residents’ concerns to the supervisor.
• Supports residents' individual needs and routines.
• Assists with volunteer programs as requested by the Life Enrichment Director.
• Assists with ADL needs during activities, such as toileting or eating/drinking.
• Participates in regulatory and accreditation processes.
