Job summary

StoneBridge Maryland Heights is seeking an Activities Assistant to work with the Life Enrichment Director to implement programs that support the interests, purposes and social needs of residents.

Join our caring team in a community dedicated to quality senior care, offering opportunities to help residents engage, socialize and maintain independence through varied activities and family-oriented events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience preferred.
• Preferred Certified Nursing Assistant – 1-year experience preferred.
• If applicable: Chauffeur’s license and CDL if operating transportation vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Implements life enrichment programs as planned to meet residents' needs and interests.
• Communicates residents' changes and interests to Life Enrichment Director.
• Assists residents to and from programs and outings as scheduled.
• Maintains rapport with family and encourages family involvement.
• Assists residents during meals and snacks to encourage socialization.
• Records attendance and participation for residents in activities.
