Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities, Inc. is seeking a Life Engagement Assistant to support planning and execution of ASE programs, promoting wellness and person-centered living for residents. You will help coordinate activities, adapt for cognitive and functional diversity, and contribute to a warm, engaging community.

The role emphasizes resident empowerment, Montessori-informed approaches, and collaboration with the Life Engagement team to enhance quality of life across the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of activities/recreation experience.
• Dementia engagement certification preferred or obtainable within one year.
• Current or eligible for CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Life Engagement Coordinator in planning and implementing programs and events.
• Ensure residents with varying cognitive and functional levels have meaningful engagement opportunities.
• Support Montessori-based resident empowerment and personalized programming informed by My Story.
