Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support Final Expense and Life Claims Operations. You will assist policyholders, beneficiaries, funeral homes, funding companies, and agents with claim status, policy benefits, payments, loans, cancellations, documentation, and payment processing in a fast-paced, telephone and computer-based environment.

The role requires empathetic, accurate service and compliance with privacy and insurance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service, call center, life claims, insurance, financial services, or related customer-facing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding Final Expense and Life Insurance policies and claims.
• Provide claim status updates, explain policy benefits, and identify required documentation.
• Assist callers with premium payment inquiries, including billing questions and payment status.
• Educate policyholders on cancellation provisions, reinstatement options, refunds, and policy terms.
• Support policyholders with policy loan inquiries and processing, including loan eligibility and balances.
• Document customer interactions and policy information across multiple systems.
