Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support Final Expense and Life Claims Operations. You will handle inquiries about policy status, benefits, payments, and documentation, delivering accurate, compassionate service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to work both onsite and remotely as per company guidelines. Prior experience in life insurance or claims is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of customer service, call center, life claims, insurance, financial services, or related customer-facing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume customer interactions while documenting information across multiple systems.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and customer service applications, navigating multiple systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding Final Expense and Life Insurance policies and claims.
• Provide claim status updates, explain policy benefits, and identify required documentation.
• Assist callers with premium payment inquiries, billing questions, payment options, and account maintenance.
• Educate policyholders on cancellation provisions, reinstatement options, refund eligibility, and policy terms.
• Support policyholders with policy loan inquiries and processing, including eligibility and balances.
• Assist beneficiaries, funeral homes, agents, and policyholders with claim-related inquiries and payment processing information.
• Document customer interactions and policy information across systems.
• Resolve customer concerns through active listening and problem solving.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support timely claim processing and issue resolution.
• Adhere to privacy, regulatory requirements, and insurance guidelines.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and service standards in a hybrid environment.
