Job summary

Equitable is seeking a Life and Annuity Operations Relationship Lead to act as the primary service and escalation contact for Financial Professionals and staff, handling new business and existing inquiries, and coordinating vendor-supported processing for life and annuity business.

You will oversee vendor performance, ensure SLAs and regulatory requirements are met, and drive process improvements to enhance service quality and advisor experience in a hybrid/remote work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in financial services operations, preferably life insurance/annuity.
• FINRA Series 6 and 26 or Series 7 and 24 registrations active upon hire.
• Strong understanding of broker-dealer operations, insurance products, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary service and escalation contact for Financial Professionals and support staff regarding new business and existing inquiries, service issues, and vendor-supported processing for life and annuity business.
• Partner with outsourced vendor to ensure timely, accurate resolution of inquiries, service requests, and escalations.
• Foster strong relationships with internal partners and external providers to enhance operational effectiveness and client satisfaction.
• Monitor outsourced operations to ensure compliance with SLAs, regulatory expectations, and contractual obligations.
• Review KPIs, trends, and operational results; communicate findings to leadership.
• Lead vendor-facilitated projects, process improvements, and root-cause analyses to improve service quality and advisor experience.
• Maintain oversight and remediation plans with vendor leadership; ensure timely completion of actions.
