Job summary

Western Dakota Insurors in Rapid City seeks a licensed Property & Casualty Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our downtown office. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of Commercial Lines experience and can work with multiple carriers while building lasting client relationships.

You will service commercial accounts, handle policy changes, renewals, certificates, and carrier requests, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with producers to deliver outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain
• 3–5 years of Commercial Lines account management experience
• Experience working with multiple insurance carriers
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-through skills
• Excellent customer service mindset and problem-solving abilities
• Team-oriented attitude with a client-focused approach
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Service and support an established Commercial Lines book of business
• Work directly with producers, insurance carriers, and clients
• Assist with claims, renewals, endorsements, certificates, and policy changes
• Provide exceptional customer service and proactive problem-solving support
• Maintain accurate client and policy information within agency systems
• Respond promptly to client requests and coverage questions
• Help ensure policies are processed accurately and efficiently
