Job summary

Phoenix LiDAR Systems in Austin, TX (or Remote) seeks a LiDAR Analyst II to evaluate sensor calibration data, produce deliverable data products, and train customers. This role bridges complex sensor data with internal teams and clients, ensuring data quality and well-documented workflows.

The position requires 5+ years in LiDAR processing or geospatial analysis, a Geo-science or related degree, and experience with remote sensing software. Travel is minimal; remote work is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on LiDAR processing, geospatial analysis, or geodetics.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geo-science, Geography, Engineering, or related.
• Direct experience using remote sensing software for LiDAR data processing.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate LiDAR systems and perform quality control.
• Investigate data issues, isolate anomalies, and diagnose causes.
• Generate deliverable data products per end-user specs.
• Build and document efficient workflows across LiDAR and photogrammetry tools.
• Collaborate with software, production, operations, and sales teams.
• Train customers and maintain client relationships.
• Produce technical reports from data investigations.
