Job summary

NV5 in Portland, OR is seeking a Senior Analyst to support the LiDAR team, guiding engineers and technicians, ensuring data quality, and driving efficient workflows. The role emphasizes ArcMap/MicroStation workflows and collaboration with engineers on geospatial deliverables.

The Senior Analyst will lead LiDAR-related projects, supervise staff, and ensure metrics and client requirements are met, with a hybrid work arrangement in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an Analyst or equivalent role.
• 1+ years of experience working with LiDAR datasets with 10 or more feature codes.
• 1+ years of experience creating LiDAR derived products such as 2D and 3D planimetrics and contours, elevation models, etc
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of ESRI or vector-based software and Terra Solid products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Act as a lead for engineering level projects that LiDAR team supports
• Reviewing scope of work requirements, creating workflows, and setting acceptance criteria
• Assist in setting benchmarks and ensuring they are met
• Lead LiDAR workflows from start to finish
• Help set up workflows and resources; Train and monitor progress of support staff; Set expectations and communicate with subcontractors
• QA/QC of final deliverables
• Identify and implement process efficiencies and improvements
