Qualifications

• 12 months training OR 12 months experience in clerical/secretarial or other administrative support position involving public contact AND 1 course or 3 months experience in typing, word processing or data entry using video display terminal.

Responsibilities

• Examines, reviews & verifies incoming initial application information for a small queue of licenses and issues licenses when complete.
• Ensures compliance with applicable laws, rules &/or procedures, determines accuracy, completeness & acceptability.
• Answers questions from applicants regarding status of applications.
• Performs basic clerical tasks (e.g. answers telephone, directs calls, takes messages).
• Processes licensure verification and duplicate wall certificate services requests.
