Fourth Floor in New York City is seeking a Licensing Manager to join our apparel team. The role will drive forecasting and budgeting, lead negotiations for licensing agreements, and act as the primary contact for licensors in NYC.

You will oversee licensing terms across the organization, ensuring compliance and coordinating with Design, Production, and Sales. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of licensing experience, ideally in character licensing.
  • Ability to manage multiple licenses simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of licensing agreements, workflows, and compliance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; experience managing licensor relationships.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage forecasts and budgets with key metrics.
  • Lead negotiations for new licensing agreements, renewals, and modifications.
  • Serve as primary day-to-day contact for licensors.
  • Oversee licensing agreements internally, ensuring terms are followed by sales/production.
  • Supervise the licensing team, including coordinators and managers.
  • Collaborate with Design, Production, Sales, Testing, and other departments.
  • Maintain organization and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong communication.
