Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Licensing Compliance Associate to research, procure and manage licenses, permits and inspection fees for new and existing locations, support offices, distribution centers and transportation. This role maintains the Licensing Compliance Records Management system and supports WIC and SNAP program compliance.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with four in-person days at a core location and one remote day, and can be based in Quincy, MA; Carlisle, PA; or

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 2-4 years of administrative responsibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities with attention to detail.
• Confidential handling of sensitive data.

Responsibilities

• Research, obtain and process local, state and federal licenses and permits for existing locations, new stores and acquisitions by compiling required information and submitting applications; monitor renewals.
• Apply for and obtain licensing for specialized departments such as pharmacy and fuel.
• Maintain records in Licensing Compliance Records Management database.
• Serve as corporate licensing contact and coordinate with licensing agencies.
• Handle administrative licensing tasks including check requests and coordination with Accounts Payable.
• Distribute and ensure licenses/permits are posted at locations and provide duplicates on request to avoid non-compliance.
• Assist in WIC and SNAP program compliance and store authorizations.
• Research licensing requirements for operating stores and perform other duties as directed.
• Notify agencies when stores close or move and return licenses when required.
