Job summary

Fourth Floor in New York is seeking a Licensing Coordinator to act as the day-to-day liaison between the company and licensors, managing submissions, approvals, and timelines for licensed designs.

You will partner with Creative, Sales, Sourcing, Production, and overseas teams to ensure brand guidelines are met, maintain licensing files and calendars, and keep projects moving on schedule.

Job description

Our client, a growing home textiles company, is seeking a Licensing Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a day-to-day liaison between the company and outside licensors and brand partners
• Coordinate the submission and approval process for licensed designs, artwork, samples, packaging, and sales collateral
• Partner with the Creative team to ensure licensed artwork and product concepts meet brand guidelines prior to submission
• Manage communication and follow-ups between licensors and internal creative/product teams
• Track licensor feedback, revisions, and approvals to keep projects moving on schedule
• Coordinate delivery of style guides, packaging assets, marketing materials, and other licensor requirements
• Maintain accurate licensing files, product matrices, approval trackers, and project calendars

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in licensing, consumer products, product development, brand management, sales support, or a related field
• Prior licensing experience required
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Comfortable managing spreadsheets, trackers, product matrices, and detailed calendars
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Creative, Sales, Sourcing, Production, and overseas teams
• Professional and confident when interacting with external brand partners
• Must be comfortable working in a PC/Windows environment; company does not use Macs
