Job summary

Mattel is seeking an Associate Manager, Consumer Products to join our UCANZ team based in El Segundo, CA at our corporate headquarters. The Associate Manager will support the growth of the Consumer Products business through new initiatives and strategic focus areas.

You will manage licensees, coordinate contracts in RightsLogic, oversee sell‑in and projections, and help forecast cycles while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive brand growth across Barbie, Hot Wheels and more.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated growth mindset with curiosity and ongoing learning.
• 3–5 yrs of experience in consumer products/licensing.
• Understanding of licensing processes, laws and CP industry.
• Knowledge of Mattel brands and partner structures.
• Strong analytical and forecasting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned licensees and categories, handling account management and financials.
• Coordinate with category managers and licensees to obtain contract details and approvals in RightsLogic.
• Collect sell‑in sheets and communicate retail placement and projection status.
• Support quarterly forecast cycles by entering data in RightsLogic and troubleshooting uploads.
• Maintain relationships with licensees and cross‑functional teams for collaboration.
• Ensure licensee compliance and prioritize requests for materials such as sell sheets and decks.
• Provide global perspective on CP categories to identify opportunities and partnerships.
