State of Maine is seeking a Social Service Program Specialist II to supervise a team conducting licensing surveys and complaint investigations for assisted housing and behavioral health providers in multiple Maine locations, with partial telework possible with management approval.

Ideal candidates will have eight years of combined education/experience in social services and knowledge of state/federal regulations governing healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• Eight years education and/or professional experience in social services.
• Eight year combination of education/experience in healthcare or social services.

Responsabilités

• Supervise a team and coordinate licensing surveys and complaint investigations for assisted housing and behavioral health providers.
• Provide orientation and ongoing training for staff; review plans of correction and deficiencies.
• Complete performance evaluations and assist management with staff reviews.
