Flynn Group is hiring a Licensing Specialist to manage multi-jurisdictional licensing and regulatory compliance across lifecycle stages. The role focuses on applications, renewals, amendments, and closures, coordinating with internal teams and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in licensing, regulatory compliance, legal administration, government relations, restaurant/hospitality, or related field preferred.
• Experience with government agencies and multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to research requirements, collect information, and determine next steps.

Responsibilities

• Manage state and jurisdictional licensing responsibilities (business, health, liquor, fire, environmental, etc.).
• Prepare, submit, and monitor license and permit applications, renewals, amendments.
• Gather supporting documentation for regulatory filings.
• Monitor expiration dates to ensure timely renewals and good standing.
• Maintain licensing records and agency correspondence.
• Research licensing requirements and communicate to internal stakeholders.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies to resolve licensing matters.
• Elevate compliance issues and missed deadlines when needed.
• Support licensing for new locations, relocations, acquisitions, and changes.
• Coordinate with Operations to obtain necessary information.
• Support due diligence and integration for acquisitions.
• Process licensing invoices and payments per procedures.
• Maintain organized electronic licensing records and distribution of licenses.
