$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr

Position Title: Licensing Compliance Specialist

Location: Herndon, VA, 3 days/week on-site minimum

Join our team as a Licensing Compliance Specialist and play a key role in keeping our organization aligned with state licensing and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities:
  • State Licensing Management: Prepare, submit, and maintain state licenses while ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory deadlines. Serve as a liaison with state agencies and maintain a company-wide license tracking system.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and interpret changes in licensing regulations; advise internal teams and maintain a comprehensive database of federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Research & Analysis: Research relevant statutes and regulations, summarizing findings for General Counsel and leadership.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain organized licensing records and prepare regular compliance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Audit & Inspection Support: Partner with legal and compliance teams to support regulatory audits and provide timely responses to inquiries.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, compliance, and operations teams to align licensing efforts with company policies; provide training as needed.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Proactively coordinate with internal teams on licensing timelines and status updates, ensuring transparency and timely renewals.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve challenges in the licensing process to ensure smooth and compliant operations.
Requirements of the Role:
  • At least 18 years of age
  • At least two (2) to five (5) years of experience in compliance, state licensing, or a related field
  • Experience managing multi-state licensing operations
  • Ability to acquire and maintain any other specific special clearances/access requirements
