This is a consultative, customer-facing role that requires deep expertise in capital-markets data usage and CT Plan policy. The Licensing & Account Manager partners with Operations, Finance, Legal, and the Pricing & Policy Manager to ensure consistent, fair, and transparent administration of subscriber relationships.

DataCT operates under the independence, governance, and transparency framework established in the CT Plan and the Administrator RFP. All staff are expected to uphold the independence of the Administrator function, avoid actual or perceived conflicts of interest, and support the governance reporting obligations of the Operating Committee of CT Plan LLC.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of CT Plan subscriber accounts across onboarding, renewals, and ongoing servicing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned subscribers and coordinate internal resources on their behalf.
  • Conduct regular account reviews (QBRs/EBRs) and maintain documented account plans.
  • Capture voice-of-customer input and route structured feedback to the Head of L&RM, Pricing & Policy, and Product/Technology.
Licensing, Policy, and Entitlement Administration
  • Translate subscriber business practices into correct CT Plan entitlements, reporting obligations, and fee categories.
  • Administer entitlement changes, adds/moves/changes, and exception requests consistent with published policy.
  • Resolve licensing and policy interpretation questions in coordination with the Pricing & Policy Manager and Legal.
  • Support policy rollouts and communicate impact to assigned subscribers on cadence.
Billing, Revenue Assurance, and Dispute Resolution
  • Support invoicing accuracy and usage declarations for assigned accounts.
  • Coordinate dispute resolution with Finance, Operations, and Legal.
  • Partner with Licensing Audit on remediation and recovery outcomes.
Data Hygiene and Documentation
  • Maintain CRM hygiene, account documentation, and audit-ready records for assigned accounts.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base with reusable playbooks, case summaries, and policy-interpretation notes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Operations, Communications, Finance, and Legal to deliver a consistent subscriber experience.
  • Contribute to onboarding collateral, training, and renewal playbooks.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Renewal rate and expansion rate within assigned portfolio.
  • Time-to-value at onboarding; NPS/CSAT for assigned subscribers.
  • Accuracy of entitlements vs. actual usage.
  • Dispute cycle time; recovery realization.
  • CRM data-quality and documentation completeness.
Qualifications
  • Five or more years in market-data account management, subscriber services, or commercial licensing roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of exchange and SIP licensing, usage reporting, and industry norms.
  • Demonstrated customer-facing capability and executive communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; specialized market-data or licensing training a plus.
Skills And Competencies
  • Consultative account management; structured discovery and requirements gathering.
  • Policy interpretation and audit-ready documentation.
  • Negotiation and dispute resolution.
  • Analytical fluency: Excel/Sheets, BI tools, CRM reporting.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
Tools and Systems
  • CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), CS platforms (Gainsight), CLM (Ironclad, DocuSign CLM), knowledge bases (Confluence, Notion), BI (Power BI, Tableau), ticketing/project tools (Jira, Asana).
Location Requirement

This position requires regular, in-person physical presence at DataCT's principal offices in New York City. DataCT's core staff, CT Plan stakeholders, SIP Processors, auditors, and principal service providers are concentrated in the New York metropolitan area, and on-site collaboration is essential to the Administrator function.
