Job summary

Jacobs in Americus, GA is seeking a Licensed Water Wastewater Project Manager to oversee the treatment of water and wastewater with a team of operators and mechanics. You will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the projects including profit and loss, permit compliance, safety, quality, and employee supervision and development.

Regular travel to client sites is required; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Georgia Class 1 Wastewater license and Class 2 Water Operators license or reciprocity within 6 months.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced experience in operation and maintenance of water & wastewater facilities.
• Experience leading, coaching and supervising a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems; able to operate plant VFDs/PLC’s.

• Oversee treatment of water and wastewater with a team of operators and mechanics.
• Lead overall project management including profit and loss, permits, safety, quality and staffing.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships and coordinate planning, operations, maintenance and improvements of facilities.
