Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Licensed Surface Water & Wastewater Treatment Project Manager to lead operations at a 6 MGD surface water and 3 MGD wastewater facility near Pampa, TX. You will guide a team of certified operators, manage safety, and oversee project budgets while ensuring permit compliance and reporting accuracy.

Ideal candidates have certifications in surface water and wastewater treatment, five years in the field, and supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Texas Surface Water Treatment Class B Certification (reciprocity possible).
• Texas Wastewater Treatment Class B Certification (reciprocity possible).
• Five years of progressive experience in water and wastewater treatment.
• Able to travel up to 10%.
• Valid State Driver's License with no major infractions.
• Experience or education in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of laboratory practices and certification.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Maintenance Connection; HachWIMS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations, compliance reporting, and maintenance of treatment plants.
• Monitor and operate water and wastewater processes; diagnose issues and correct them.
• Prepare reports and maintain complete recordkeeping.
• Supervise, evaluate, and train operators; manage project safety and team performance.
• Direct project financials and interface with client to ensure success.
