Job summary

Aqua, an Essential Utilities company, is seeking a Facility Operator in the Fort Worth, TX area to support water production, wastewater treatment, and distribution systems. You will perform routine analysis, adjust chemical treatments, and maintain documentation for compliance.

The role requires high school or GED, a valid U.S. driver’s license, and appropriate FO licensing levels as per dual licensing rules. On-site work with potential on-call duties is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required.
• FO licensing: FO1/FO2/FO3 levels per dual licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment at water production facilities and booster stations.
• Operates and maintains distribution systems including mains, valves, hydrants and service lines.
• Maintains equipment at wastewater facilities and lift stations.
• Operates sewer collection systems including mains and pump stations.
• Troubleshoots and repairs service piping and related equipment.
• Performs routine water quality analysis per procedures.
• Adjusts chemical treatment to meet water quality standards.
• Updates and closes work orders; maintains system documentation.
• Performs tasks safely per company policies and laws.
• Assists with other tasks or projects as assigned.
