Job summary

Aqua America, Inc. is hiring a Facility Operator for the Fort Worth, TX area to support water production, wastewater treatment, lift stations, and distribution systems. Under the Field Supervisor, you will perform essential duty tasks and help ensure reliable water and wastewater services to communities.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid U.S. Driver’s License, and dual licensing up to FO3.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
• Must meet licensing requirements: C Well or Grade I for FO1.
• Must meet licensing requirements: B Well or Grade II for FO2 and A Well or Grade III for FO3.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment at water production facilities and booster stations.
• Operates distribution systems including mains, valves, hydrants and service lines.
• Maintains equipment at wastewater facilities and lift stations.
• Operates sewer collection systems including mains and pump stations.
• Performs routine water quality analysis and adjusts treatment to meet standards.
• Completes work orders and updates system documentation.
