The City of Webster is hiring a Water Operator to ensure the efficient operation of the City’s water supply. You will operate and monitor water plants and distribution systems, perform maintenance, inspect new construction, and coordinate with other City staff and citizens.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Class "C" Water Operator License from TCEQ.
• Valid Texas Class "C" Driver's License.
• Preferred Class "C" Wastewater Operator License from TCEQ.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the City's water plants and water distribution systems.
• Maintain water plants and distribution systems and inspect new construction.
• Interface with City employees and citizens as part of daily operations.
