Job summary

The Springs Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking LVN/RN nurses for full-time and PRN night shifts in Cedar Park, TX. The 10pm to 6am shift includes a differential and rotating schedule to support high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Current state license as LVN or RN.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing or registered nursing program.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with RN and physician's plan of care.
• Accurately report and record patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms indicating changes.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
• Assist physician and RN in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions during patient care.
• Follow emergency procedures in catastrophic events or significant changes in patient condition.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an LVN / RN
• Current state license as an LVN / RN
• Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing
• Proof of current CPR certification
• Ability to work flexible schedule
• Excellent interpersonal skills
