Job summary

Lakeside Health & Wellness is seeking licensed LVN or RN professionals to join our on-site team in Kemp, TX. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary group to ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining thorough documentation and reporting. This full-time and PRN opportunity requires current licensure and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow established standards of nursing practices and implementcommunity programs, policies and procedures
• Obtainreport from nurse being relieved and provide report to nurse coming on duty;record sufficient information to implement appropriate follow-up action as necessary.
• Conduct resident rounds daily, reporting problems to supervisor and initiating corrective action
• Comply with community processes related to painassessment/management/documentation, providing treatments and delivering medications
• Administer and document direct resident care, medications and treatments per physicians’ orders and accurately record all care provided
• Provide instruction for appropriate nursing care to licensed nurses and Nursing Assistants

Must Haves

• Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing
• Unencumbered LVN / RN license
• Proof of current CPR certification
• Ability to work flexible schedule
• Minimum 1 year experience as an LVN/RNin a clinical setting preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation
