Job summary

The Springs Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for full-time hours. The role includes double weekends with Baylor pay, competitive pay, generous PTO and holidays, and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities cover planning patient care with the RN and physician, accurate reporting, and assisting in complex nursing situations. Qualifications include at least 1 year of LVN/RN experience, graduation from an accredited practical nursing program, CPR

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an LVN/RN.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Proof of current CPR certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and coordination of total patient care with RN and physician.
• Report and record patient's condition and care accurately.
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries.
• Assist physician and RN in complex nursing situations.
• Follow universal precautions in patient care.
• Follow emergency procedures for catastrophic events.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and coordination of total patient care in conjunction with the RN and the physician's plan of care, and follow the nursing care plan for each patient
• Accurately report and record the patient's condition and care, including signs and symptoms which may be indicative of change
• Prepare clinical/progress notes and summaries
• Assist the physician and Registered Nurse in complex nursing situations
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of patient care
• Follow emergency procedures in the event of any catastrophic event, incident, e.g., accident, injury or significant change in the patient's condition

Qualifications

• 1 year experience as an LVN / RN
• Graduate of an accredited program of practical nursing
• Proof of current CPR certification
• Ability to work flexible schedule
