Responsibilities

• Greet clients and patients, obtain vitals, record history in EMR.
• Assist veterinarian with appointments, surgery, dentistry, and euthanasia.
• Perform patient restraint, collect specimens, dispense medications, and maintain EMR.
• Schedule appointments, educate clients, relay test results, and manage records/AR.
• Prepare patients for procedures, monitor anesthesia, and discharge or transfer.
• Provide in-hospital treatments and nursing care as directed by veterinarian.
• Participate in training new staff and maintain a clean hospital environment.
• Perform additional duties and backup front desk support as needed.
