Elk Creek Animal Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative team. You will provide nursing care, assist with exams, surgeries, dentistry, and anesthesia monitoring, and educate clients on treatments and preventive care.

Competenze

• Current Veterinary Technician credential (LVT, RVT, or CVT)
• Strong technical skills in anesthesia monitoring, venipuncture, radiology, and laboratory diagnostics
• Excellent communication and client-service skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Passion for patient care and commitment to continued professional growth

Mansioni

• Provide compassionate nursing care and safely handle and restrain patients
• Assist with examinations, surgery, dentistry, and anesthesia monitoring
• Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory diagnostics, and radiology
• Administer medications, treatments, and vaccines as directed
• Monitor hospitalized patients and communicate changes in condition
• Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, preventive care, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
• Work closely with doctors and teammates to provide exceptional patient care
