Job summary

Elk Creek Animal Hospital of Hikes Point in Louisville, Kentucky seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our two-doctor small animal practice. This full-time role offers a four-day workweek (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) with weekends off and opportunities to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Licensed/Registered Veterinary Technician credential.

• Proficient in animal handling and restraint; venipuncture and catheter placement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, fluid therapy, and sample collection.
