Job summary

Big Creek Veterinary Hospital is seeking a skilled veterinary technician to join our team. You will assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures, monitor anesthesia, obtain samples, perform or assist with diagnostic tests, and educate clients on care plans.

Qualifications

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT)
Strong clinical nursing skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and procedures
Monitor anesthesia and support surgical and dental procedures
Obtain blood samples, place catheters, and administer treatments as directed
Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic procedures
Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
Maintain accurate medical records
Collaborate with doctors and teammates to deliver excellent patient care
