Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Tukwila, WA is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician for our fast-paced ER department. This full-time position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

You will triage patients, initiate CPR when needed, place IVs and central lines, perform advanced radiographs, monitor ventilator cases, and provide Level 2–3 inpatient care while mentoring teammates. We offer competitive pay, shift differentials, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the U.S.
• Experience in emergency/critical care is preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department in Tukwila!

Schedule: Full-Time or Swing

LVT Pay: $26.75 - $51.32/Hr

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through Kahuna leveling system

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

As a Veterinary Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Advanced Radiographs
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Level 2 & 3 Inpatient Care

Our Continuing Education Plan includes $500/year reimbursement for CVT and $750/year for VTS. The Continuing Education allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours. Newly hired associates will receive a pro-rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
