BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus or relocation pay and shift differentials for eligible hours.

Triage, obtain patient history, initiate CPR for at-risk patients, place IVs and catheters, perform advanced radiographs, and monitor ventilator cases. Mentorship and career growth are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician required.
• Willing to work day, swing, or overnight shifts including weekends.
• ER experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department!

This position is eligible for qualified candidates to receive up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus or relocation pay"

Schedules: Day or Swing or Overnight with weekend availability.

LVT I Pay: 25.63 - $36.81/Hr

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the Kahuna leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.

*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $8.00 Shift Differential

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.

As a Veterinary Technician , you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Advanced Radiographs
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Level 2 & 3 Inpatient Care

Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients

Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours. Newly hired associates will receive a pro-rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
