Job summary

La Amistad Behavioral Health Services seeks a full-time Therapist to provide individual, family, and group counseling for residents. You interview, assess needs, and develop treatment objectives, serving as the primary contact for residents and families.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or related field, plus a Florida license (LCSW/LMFT/LMHC or LMFTI/LMHCI) and at least one year of direct clinical experience with children or adolescents.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling or a related field.
• One year direct clinical experience with children and/or adolescents.
• Current Florida license such as LCSW, LMFT, LMHC or LMHCI is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy for residents at least weekly.
• Lead group and family therapy sessions per treatment plan.
• Coordinate discharge planning with treatment team and families.
