Job summary

La Amistad Behavioral Health Services in Florida seeks a full-time Therapist to provide individual, family, and group therapy to residents. You will interview, assess, develop treatment objectives and monthly treatment summaries, and serve as the primary contact for residents and families within the program.

Requires a Master’s Degree in social work or counseling, Florida license (LCSW/LMFT/LMHC etc.), and at least one year of direct clinical experience with children/adolescents.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field.
• Florida licensed clinician (LCSW/LMFT/LMFTI/LMHC/LMHCI) required.
• One year of direct clinical experience with children/adolescents.
• Experience with family, individual and group therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy weekly for residents.
• Conduct group psychotherapy sessions multiple times weekly.
• Lead specialized groups as assigned by the team.
• Build rapport and develop treatment plans and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with treatment team, families and outside agencies.
