La Amistad Behavioral Health Services is seeking a per diem Therapist to provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy for residents. The role involves interviewing, assessing, planning treatment, and acting as the primary contact for residents and families during the stay.

Responsibilities include conducting weekly individual sessions, frequent group therapy, and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team. Florida license (LCSW/LMFT/LMHC, etc.) is required.

Formación

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling or related fields.
• One year direct clinical experience in family, individual and group therapy with children/adolescents.
• Current Florida license such as LCSW, LMFT, LMFTI, LMHC or LMHCI.

Responsabilidades

• Conducts individual psychotherapy sessions for residents at least once per week.
• Conducts group psychotherapy sessions for residents at least four times per week.
• Coordinates with treatment team and families for discharge planning.
• Maintains documentation as required by facility policy.
• Demonstrates understanding of common psychiatric diagnoses and appropriate interventions.
