La Amistad Behavioral Health Services seeks a Per Diem Therapist to provide individual, family and group psychotherapy to residents. You will interview, assess needs, develop objectives and monthly summaries, acting as liaison with treatment teams and families.

This role emphasizes discharge planning coordination, crisis response, and documenting per facility policy; requires a Master\'s in social work or related field, Florida license (LCSW/LMFT/LMHC), and at least one year of clinical

Qualifikationen

• Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling or other related fields.
• Experience: One year direct clinical experience specific to family, individual and group therapy with children and/or adolescents.
• License/Certification: Current license from the State of Florida, such as LCSW, LMFT, LMFTI, LMHC or LMHCI.

Aufgaben

• Conducts individual psychotherapy sessions for residents at least once per week.
• Conducts group psychotherapy sessions at least four times per week.
• Conducts specialized groups as assigned.
• Establishes rapport and gathers data to determine treatment readiness and priorities.
• Coordinates discharge planning with treatment team and family.
• Understands common psychiatric diagnoses and applies appropriate interventions.
• Documentation as required by facility policy.
• Assesses age-specific behaviors and adjusts approach accordingly.
