Qualifications

• Licensed as a Mental Health Social Worker or Mental Health Counselor in Florida. CPR certification from American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in verbal and written skills; computer literate; knowledge of FCBS and BHRS system.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and patient rights.

Responsibilities

• Provides counseling services to infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric groups.
• Outpatient Behavioral Healthcare counseling with age-appropriate approaches.
• Provides counseling to adults and adolescents and their families.
• Coordinates discharge plans and participates in treatment team activities.
• Maintains documentation, billing, and confidentiality in charts.
