Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join the Iowa Cross ACT program in Knoxville, IA. You will deliver individual, group, and family therapy to adults, using evidence-based practices and coordinating with a multidisciplinary ACT team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a human services field.
• Current state license (LPC, LMSW, LISW) as required by licensure.
• Experience in behavioral health treatment.
• Familiarity with standard business software and electronic health care databases.
• Ability to obtain required clearances.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to adults.

The Iowa ACT program of Resources for Human Development (RHD) is an Assertive Community Treatment program based in Knoxville and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, serving the seven-county CROSS mental health and disability services region.

Our ACT team provides coordinated, community-based behavioral health services designed to meet individuals where they are. As a Licensed Therapist, you’ll be an important part of a collaborative team working to address mental health, substance use, and other individualized treatment needs while connecting clients with the services and resources they need to succeed.

What You’ll Do

As a Licensed Therapist, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy to adults based on the needs of the program population, utilizing evidence-based practices in mental health, substance use disorders, and other areas as required by the program.

You will:

• Conduct intake assessments and make recommendations for treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's needs.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to adults experiencing mental health and substance use challenges.
• Maintain an active caseload and engage individuals in ongoing treatment.
• Coordinate with program support staff to identify and secure additional services and community resources based on client needs.
• Maintain a tracking system for treatment plans and other required documentation to meet program goals and funder guidelines.
• Participate in clinical team meetings to discuss treatment goals, client progress, ongoing needs, and discharge planning.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record in accordance with agency guidelines.
• Collaborate with members of the ACT team to support coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Provide supervision to non-licensed therapists, counselors, and other staff when needed to meet applicable state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field.
• Current applicable state license, including LPC, LMSW, or LISW, as required by program licensing and funder requirements.
• Familiarity with standard business computer software programs and electronic health care database programs.
• Completion and maintenance of all trainings required by licensure.
• Ability to obtain required clearances as applicable to the program.
