Job summary

Resources for Human Development is seeking a Clinical Therapist for a full-time role. You will provide individual, group, and family therapies to clients across age ranges, using evidence-based practices for addiction, mental health, and related needs.

In addition to direct clinical work, you will maintain documentation, collaborate with program staff, and supervise non-licensed clinicians as required. Opportunities for growth and professional development are available within a mission-driven

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a human services field and/or State license required (LPC, LCSW, LISW, LSW) per program licensing/funder requirements.
  • Familiar with standard business software and electronic Health Care Database programs.
  • ACT 33/34 clearances if required by program
  • FBI clearance, as needed
  • All trainings required by licensure

Responsibilities

  • Conduct intake assessments including recommendations for treatment.
  • Provide individual, group and family therapies to people with mental health and substance use issues.
  • Maintain active caseload including engaging individuals in ongoing treatment.
  • Maintain tracking system for treatment plans and other required documents to meet program funder guidelines and program goals.
  • Participate in clinical group meetings regarding ongoing treatment goals, progress and discharge as needed.
  • Enter documentation into electronic medical records in accordance with agency guidelines.
  • Provide supervision to non-licensed therapists, counselors and other staff as needed to support state requirements for licensing.
  • All other duties as directed.

What You’ll Do

The Clinical Therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapies to children, adolescents or adults depending on program support population using evidence-based practices in addiction-substance use disorders, mental health diagnosis and other areas as required by program. Perform initial assessment, treatment plans, individual and group counseling, coordinate with program support staff to identify and secure additional services and resources based on client needs.
